THE KRO STORY

KRo coaching was launched in 2025 by our founder george, who felt that he could make his mark and use his knowledge to provide a platform for young footballers to grow within surrey.

What began as a 9 player session of half of a seven a-side pitch, has grown into having an U11 centre which reached 24 paying players within 6 months, all being coached in our way every week.

This time, in our second season we have entered a side into the JPL at U11, and opened up our GAMES PROGRAMME for elite U11 footballers looking for a more flexible schedule.

With our U12/13s Centre launching in November and preparing for our U14/15s Centre to launch in January, we are growing rapidly in both numbers and in the ways to support our players who walk through the door.

As well as this, a a massive new Partnership with a NATIONAL LEAGUE SOUTH ACADEMY FARNBOROUGH FC to give our players options and pathways into Football/ Sports centred careers.

We have big ambitions as a company, and we want to support and positively impact as many players’ journeys as we can.

OUR MISSION

We create a carefully crafted environment where every player is supported to develop.

We aim to use their passion for football to help them grow as young people.

Meet THE FOUNDER -

george BUTLER

My journey in football started long before KRO, but the words behind it “Keep Right On”, have ALWAYS been a constant in my life

Growing up a Birmingham City fan (which wasn't always easy!), that song was tied to my family and my football. It's always resonated with me, so when it came to naming this, there was only one choice. A phrase with a strong message for everyone within KRO to live by.

I started playing at 5 and spent 11 years in elite grassroots football, until COVID hit when I turned 16. Just after lockdown, I began coaching. Alongside my studies and playing at Farnborough FC, I grew a real passion for coaching and for understanding the game from a new perspective, and I began to find my style and hone my craft.

At 18, being offered opportunities to earn professional contracts showed me how little support grassroots players get when they haven't been exposed to the standards and expectations of academy football. I want to fill that gap.

Five years after I started coaching, I launched KRO.

Today I'm a UEFA-qualified coach with experience across elite grassroots and full-time U18 programmes, and I still play at a competitive level. I believe I can make a real difference to players aged 11+, helping them grow on and off the pitch.

I want to grow our KRO Community and impact as many players as I can within their football journeys.

KEEP RIGHT ON,

George
